Overview

The NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (Children and Young People’s Management) is a high-level qualification designed for individuals who are currently working in, or aspiring to work in, a managerial or leadership role in the health and social care or children and young people’s services sector. This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage teams, implement change and improve outcomes for children, young people and service users.

During the course, you will learn about leadership and management theories, as well as practical skills such as developing and implementing operational plans, leading and managing teams, and promoting innovation and change. You will also cover topics such as safeguarding, partnership working, and promoting health and wellbeing.

The qualification is accredited by NCFE CACHE, a leading provider of qualifications in the UK, and is recognised by Ofqual, ensuring that learners gain a qualification that is highly regarded by employers in the health and social care and children and young people’s services sector.

QUALIFICATION

What does it cover?

This course is offered through a combination of face-to-face tutor-led sessions and online learning. You will have access to a dedicated tutor who will provide support and guidance throughout your studies. You will also have access to a range of learning resources, including online study materials and assessment tools.

The course is designed to be flexible, allowing you to fit your studies around your work and other commitments. You will be required to complete a minimum of 90 credits, which includes 45 credits from the mandatory units and a further 45 credits from the optional units.
