The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) is a qualification designed for those who work or wish to work in a residential childcare setting. During the course, you will learn about the key principles and practices in residential childcare, including safeguarding, communication, health and safety, and supporting the development of children and young people. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through practical assessments in a real work environment.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE

What does it cover?

This course is offered through a combination of face-to-face tutor-led sessions and online learning. You will have access to a dedicated tutor who will provide support and guidance throughout your studies. You will also have access to a range of learning resources, including online study materials and assessment tools.

The course is designed to be flexible, allowing you to fit your studies around your work and other commitments. You will be required to complete a minimum of 61 credits, which includes 50 credits from the mandatory units and a further 11 credits from the optional units.

  • Health and safety in a residential childcare setting
  • Supporting the development of children and young people in residential care
